1. Check your PECO utility bill. If you see a “natural gas” itemization, then you already have the necessary line.
2. Check outside your home for a natural gas meter. If there is one, then you have the necessary line.
3. If you're still unsure, call PECO at 1-888-499-7808. Please have your account number ready (see upper left hand corner of your utility bill).
If you do not already have a natural gas service line, you may be able to have one installed if it is available in your area. Homes currently without a natural gas service line are eligible for PECO credits toward the installation costs of a natural gas service line for each qualifying natural gas appliance installed, in addition to any other rebates or discounts for which you may be eligible.
